This is a story that is true for many State Legislatures. They are making sure that their citizens have the “right” to enter any public place or business without the shame and stigma of wearing a mask to protect them and their fellow citizens from COVID. Sometimes it is the governor taking this definitive action and sometimes the legislature. If you feel this is your right then maybe you need to check YOUR supply of aluminum foil.
Since my home state is Kentucky I will address my complements to this great legislative body.
Thank you for not prioritizing my health…
This president is way worse than most progressives know because they simply don’t listen to him for any length of time. I don’t listen to any Fox News channels and only see short clips on other channels. I know my mute button gets a workout. His policies are very bad. His treatment of people is very bad. His mental abilities are VERY VERY BAD.
I am simply not sure how his supporters can trust him to run the country and to control the nuclear launch codes.
He is clearly not very smart, totally self absorbed, and frequently incoherent. I am…
And Why I Wear a Mask in Public
There have been lots of emotion regarding “Safe At Home” and “Safe At Work”. Protesters with automatic weapons are arguing it is their right to do the various activities they did before the pandemic. Skip social distancing, skip wearing masks, go shopping in a crowded store, go swimming, go to church, and more.
If their logic is true then I should be have the right to NOT stop at all stop signs. If I am killed in a car wreck that is my prerogative. Not a logical one but none-the-less my prerogative…
Or Why Some Would Inject Disinfectant to Cure a Virus
In the arena of science I have huge respect for Carl Sagan and Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Carl left us in 1996 at the young age of 62. In my perspective Neil has picked up where Carl left off.
Carl Sagan saw a world moving more deeply into technology that requires an ever increasing understanding of science.
Carl’s Wisdom …
Google “Instagram Likes” … I’ll wait … I think you will be shocked.
Sorry … I don’t have a solution for any of this.
We really do live in a strange world. Instagram Likes are for sale just like cattle at an auction. You will find many pages of Likes for sale. Buy some get some free. Others Starting at $1.49. One ad says: Just like real Likes. Another says: Our Likes are from real people. And on, and on, and on …
I am sure some are purchased for marketing campaigns and some probably by desperate teenagers trying to…
The Women on the Debate Stage Get It
During the Democratic Presidential debate there was more evidence that we need more feminine energy in leadership … more specifically as the President of the United States.
I cannot say that any of the Democratic candidates give me an overwhelming desire to endorse them right now but the debate on Thursday night had a very interesting close.
The moderator at the debate posed the question:
Either name a gift each would give to a rival onstage or ask forgiveness from a fellow candidate.
Both Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuhar asked for forgiveness…
Never before in the same arena
Up until the the impeachment process Mitch and Nancy have played in different arenas. Now the House and Senate arena overlaps and Nancy may have pitched a very strange knuckle ball that may be hard for Mitch to catch or hit.
If the House does NOT deliver the articles of impeachment to the Senate then Mitch will not be able to acquit or convict. It leaves things in a bit of limbo. It will leave the president indicted but at least temporarily without the possibility of exoneration. …
Here are a few Zen like thoughts that might help you navigate life.
My study of martial arts, leadership, and meditation has lead me to this accumulation of little Zen Tidbits. Different ones resonate at different times in my daily travels through life. You don’t have to master them all or even any of them … but if you do work on these ideas, or even your own list, you will find life to be less of a struggle during your journey.
Life can be much like trying to carry a cup of hot coffee filled to the rim while…
