Ahh ... the things Steven Novella and Neil de Grasse Tyson talk about.

My favorite Neil quote:

"One of our biggest challenges in this world is knowing enough about a subject to think you are right but not knowing enough about a subject to know you are wrong."

Since 2016 and now since the beginning of the pandemic I have become a student of cognitive problems. The Skeptics Guide to the Universe by Novella is a good study of many cognitive issues. It is very curious to see how people seemingly can accept some facts and reject others when both are clearly true.

If you want to get better at finding the objective truth among the rubble of lies and misinformation you should start with these two guys. From there you will find many more very qualified men and women like Alison Escalante here.
