Enough “true” conservatives and independents vote Democratic and they win by a reasonable margin … BUT 4–5 “declares” the election has been hacked and decides not to leave office. It takes a protracted court fight but he finally leaves by the end of January … but enough to disrupt the inauguration.

And maybe a forth … 4–5 looses, he goes home, Melania divorces him, we have a couple more elections with a liberal outcome, Big Oil continues to get “it’s way”, the climate continues to heat, most of the Greenland ice sheet slides off into the Atlantic, the world economy crashes, the US and other countries have “immigrants” from their own costal communities migrating inland but they are broke since they could not sell their now submerged property, the very rich start learning how to eat their money since it is not good for much else … or some variant of this story.

No matter what the outcome in November 2020 …
