Chris, you are correct to be optimistic. But, I am strangely neutral … hoping for the best and prepared to accept the worst. Both without much emotional stress either way … but not paralyzed into lethargy.

We are doing what we can here in KY. We are are local activists and do a considerable amount of door to door canvasing for liberal political candidates. We have knocked on many thousands of doors in the last few years.

And, I do have some positive perspectives. We managed in KY to elect a Democratic governor and took the office away from a 4–5 disciple. POTUS even came to the state a few days before the election but I think it actually worked against the incumbent Republican.

So, we will hang in there.

So keep writing because I find your perspective very interesting … and it provides some pleasure in the middle of the ebb and flow of chaos.
