Could Some of us Become Irrelevant?

Definition of Irrelevant: Not relating or pertinent to the matter at hand. In this case life and our individual value to society as a human.

If Mother Nature does not get us first technology might. But first understanding why we do what we do may be more important than understanding how to solve our problems.

Could there be solution before it is too late? Maybe. Do we know that solution yet? Maybe. But it probably involves how we think more than what we do. Once we embrace why the solutions may come more easily.

The How

The how of humans becoming irrelevant may happen for a variety of issues. Income inequality may relegate massive numbers of humans to be depressed into a lower standard of living. This lower standard could have a range of consequences from not being able to own a car to not being able to have sufficient food for their families. It could also mean a shorter life span because of reduced access to healthcare. Less access to routine care and possibly no access to expensive life saving surgeries and medications. Income inequality may be the driving force because it will be more lucrative to sell luxury goods and services to the wealthy rather than creating cheap reliable cars and hospitals specializing in “brain surgery on a budget”.
