I am a die hard Carrot user. It makes weather fun but it is generally "deadly accurate". You will sometimes see a message like "Rain starting in 12 minutes and ending 45 minutes later". Occasionally I have watched out the window and the rain comes on more often than not on the predicted schedule.

Not cheap but one of the few subscriptions I feel are worth paying for. I also have it interfaced with my own personal weather station (a built in option) so when I am within 2 miles of my house the temperature reports are truly local not the near by airport.
