I am a HUGE fan of meditation and quiet time.
My casual Zen study led me down the path toward meditation but until a couple of years ago I did not do any formal meditation.
Then I discovered the book by Ekhart Tolle, The Power Of Now. That has lead me to the idea (my paraphrase) of emotional time versus clock time. I now don’t think about the past with remorse and I don’t think about the future with anxiety.
Once I was able to make that distinction it is much easier for me have a more quiet mind. I now meditate on a regular basis and it has changed my life.
