I am a KY resident that lives in the state capital. Matt Bevin was an almost daily jerk.

The pardons have gotten lots of press.

You did not mention a pardon for the convicted killer that beheaded his victim and stuffed her body in a barrel.

And the day he called all of the public school teachers thugs.

And he did not live in the Govenor's Mansion in Frankfort because he bought a multi-million dollar house in Louisville at a huge discount from a campaign donor.

And he hid a report on the reform of the pension plan for KY public employees. The Republican House and Senate passed a pension plan bill but the KY State Supreme Court overturned it.

He was sued by the AG for KY multiple times and lost.

The good news is 4–5 came to town a few days before his re-election and Bevin still lost.

I think in this bright red state that there was a message in his loss.
