I sat today and watched Gordon Sondland testify in the 4–5 impeachment hearings. I am generally politically left leaning but he struck me as a decent man. Much different than my home state senators McConnell and Paul. Then I began to wonder how could this person get any joy in life working so closely with 4–5 and many others in the inner circle? He described some stuff that would just make we walk away from my job and disappear … and I don’t have his millions.

I came to the conclusion, as normal as Gordon seemed, he obviously has a serious case of Cognitive Dissonance that allows him to ignore much of the behavior and policies of our POTUS.

Many other cognitive disorders are on full display in Washington. Sort of scary.
