It is not the fact that someone is rich … it is the fact they would use their wealth and money as weapons against others for their own selfish purposes.

It boils down to leaders having empathy. The current POTUS and most of the Trumplican party have none. Mike does appear to have empathy and is willing to shift his views and apologize for past transgressions.

There is a simple solution to money in politics… negate Citizens United (via legislation or possibly a Constitutional amendment). And add laws to limit political campaign funding and durations. Then if you are a billionaire or not there would be little advantage garnered by money.

This would also help since purchasing ads on social media would be limited by funding. And we know Facebook et. al. do it for profit.
