What does skin moisturizing and dental flossing in public, the Amazon fires in Brazil, the G-7 Summit, Scaramucci, and a 26 pound cat all have in common?

Yep, you got me too … at least until I went looking. These were all stories in the Washington Post. Not all exactly front page news but important enough to be in various newsfeeds I have on my iPhone in the last week. And yes they were real articles in the electronic version of the Washington Post.

I am busy in Kentucky going door to door in the governors race to try and help unseat the most unpopular governor in the nation. The team needs to knock on a million doors before November. Whew. We need more volunteers. I am looking at the official NASA fire maps with sheer horror as it appears maybe half of Brazil is on fire. And these are fires set by humans … on purpose. As POTUS is headed to the G-7 summit I am reading about how he thinks he can make China “blink” in a trade war with some very bazaar miscalculated economic ideas.
