So it seems we are in a pretty deep hole and climbing out will be a dirty and muddy process no matter what happens to 4–5.

But to preserve our Constitution I think jail time would be the correct solution. If that does not happen maybe impeachment will help even if there is not a conviction.

ALSO … Do you suppose the recent trip by 4–5 to Walter Reed on Saturday (11/16) is a “trick” to setup the scenario that POTUS will have to resign due to health problems? A malignant narcissist could likely convince himself that it was not his fault and provide a graceful exit.
