The little schoolgirl is teaching us how to grieve for the end of the world. And in that way, she’s teaching us how to fight for the future, too. But the fascist leading the free world is just teaching us to how to sneer and smirk at death. Of democracy, of the planet, of life on it, of history, of decency.

It is irony the little schoolgirl has been able do something that NOBODY else in the world has been able to do … raise consciousness and acceptance of moral responsibility about climate change. A little schoolgirl is more powerful than the fascist leading the free world.

It gives me hope.
